A free, family-friendly event held every summer at John Metcalfe Park

Concessions open at 3:00 PM, the movie will begin at dusk. Register Here!
Lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray, and flashlights are recommended. Inclement weather may delay or cancel events. Follow the City of Fountain on Facebook for updates!
Help us support a healthy community by practicing social distancing. We encourage attendees to stay with members of their party, wear masks, and stay at least six (6) feet apart from others.
The following precautions have been taken for our 2020 Movie Night in the Park.
- The Area where the movie is being shown will be marked off with caution tape with an entrance and exit point (See diagram 1)
- Restrooms will be opened and cleaned every hour starting at 6:00 pm and ending at 11:00 pm
- Employees at the event will wear a mask when working within 6ft of participants
- We will not allow more than 150 people to be in the area for the movie
- Concessions workers will wear masks and gloves when interacting with public or making food
- When participants leave through EXIT 2 they will have to return through entrance
- There will be a Rec employee at each exit and the entrance
We will be taking added precautions to protect our community, employees, and citizens from the spread of COVID-19.
Only one person/ family will be allowed in restrooms at a time. Restrooms will be open from 6:00 pm-11:00 pm. They will be closed the last 20 minutes of every hour for cleaning.
