The City of Fountain Water Department is persistently working on different water projects to better serve our community's water needs.Therefore, the City of Fountain contracted with the engineering firm Black & Veatch to conduct a survey on the City's Water Master Plan to project long-range planning of Fountain's water supply, treatment and distribution systems.

The intent of this plan is to provide an assessment of the City's water supply needs through the year 2046.In addition, this plan identifies water supplies and treatment, as well as improvements to the distribution system to meet existing and future demands based on anticipated growth within the current service areas and surrounding areas that are likely to be served by the City in the future.
