WELCOME TO THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY
The City Attorney is the legal adviser to the City Council and City employees in matters relating to their official powers and duties.
He is also responsible under the City Charter for representing the City in all cases and in all courts, attending all regular and special City Council meetings, preparing and reviewing all ordinances, resolutions, contracts, bonds, and written instruments which could legally bind the City.
The City Attorney’s Office does not give legal advice to private citizens.
