Hello Fountain, and happy Spring! The time of year where winter is trying to hang on and we're ready to begin our outside actives and interests. This blend of seasons reminds me of another blend of activities that are occurring in Fountain, related to strategic planning. While we continue to work hard on completing our goals in the 2022-2024 Strategic Plan, we are also beginning to plan for the future, and identifying our priorities and strategic plan for years 2025-2027.  

This is a really important process as our Strategic Plan identifies what are the most important priorities, we are focused on in the Fountain community and what are the actions your city is taking to address them. You can pick up a copy of our current Strategic Plan at City Hall, or by visiting our city website, www.fountaincolorado.org. We encourage you to participate in this process as this is OUR community plan and that means all of us involved in creating that plan. Check back on the website for dates of upcoming work sessions focused on our strategic plan and share your constructive inputs and thoughts on what you think our priorities should be. Of course, if you can’t make it, you can always reach out to me or your city council member and convey your thoughts and inputs. We intend to publish our new strategic plan in the beginning of 2025.
