Development regulations in the City include a variety of land use requirements such as zoning, subdivision, landscaping, parking, signs, etc. The regulations govern how land us subdivided, used and developed. Development regulations are designed to be consistent with adopted comprehensive plans. Please see Title 17 in the Municipal Code for more information.


Property setbacks and easement should be kept clear of
structures.

Fences, trees, shrubs and vegetation may not obscure visibility
at intersections.

Plot approval is required from the Planning Department before placement or building of structures, including carports. 

   

Operating a home-based business or rental property requires a permit.
